  2. Cool spotting! Interesting that is adhered to a snail... I imagine its body does not go too far in such that it does not damage the shell of the snail (?) Posted 3 years ago
    1. The base of the barnacle is membranous, but it's body doesn't extend past its shell. So, it doesn't harm the snail - except maybe by adding extra weight. Posted 3 years ago
