Bold-feathered Grass Moth - Herpetogramma pertextalis
*The dark coloration of this moth has confused me a bit. It is similar to H. thestealis, but I still think it is most likely to be a dark H. pertextalis.
Wingspan: 25-30 cm. Semi-translucent wings with a pattern of scalloped, brown lines. Hosts: Low plants, such as violets.
Habitat: Attracted to a 395 nm LED moth light in a semi-rural area.
