Total length: ~5 mm. Yellow/orange forewing has a brown basal area and shading in the subterminal area . Silver lines are slightly bent.<br />

This moth was so fast! It was scurrying all over my glass doors :)

Total length: ~5 mm. Yellow/orange forewing has a brown basal area and shading in the subterminal area . Silver lines are slightly bent.

"Epicallima argenticinctella", the orange-headed epicallima moth, is a moth of the family Oecophoridae. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Nova Scotia to South Carolina, west to Kansas and Texas. The habitat consists of deciduous forests.
