
Northern Pitcher Plant Bud- Sarracenia purpurea
Tiny buds were starting to pop up last month. They are in bloom now :).
A carnivorous plant with one large, purplish-red flower on the top of a leafless stalk rising above a rosette of tubular leaves. Flowers are 2 inches in size and have 5 petals.
