    I went to a bird show last week. In comparison to the zoo where the birds are often sitting in the shade of their cages, here the birds where sitting in the sun. Perfect for the pictures :) I will post some more soon. Posted 12 years ago

The Common buzzard

The common buzzard is a medium-to-large bird of prey, whose range covers most of Europe and extends into Asia. It is usually resident year-round, except in the coldest parts of its range, and in the case of one subspecies.
