Strangalepta Flower Longhorn Beetle - Strangalepta abbreviata ~ 10 mm long. Black beetle with an orange stripe on each elytron.  This beetle was really enjoying some flowers, as you can tell by the pollen ;P.<br />

Strangalepta Flower Longhorn Beetle - Strangalepta abbreviata

~ 10 mm long. Black beetle with an orange stripe on each elytron. This beetle was really enjoying some flowers, as you can tell by the pollen ;P.

Habitat: Mixed forested wetland

    1. My thought as well. Maybe the type of flower it imbibed in was extra pollen-ish. Or, maybe this beetle has a self-control issue. Posted 6 years ago
