The Harvester - Feniseca tarquinius WS: ~20-25 mm. Mostly orange, yellow, and black with a pattern of spots ringed in white on the underside of the wings.<br />

Larvae of this species are unique in that they are carnivorous and eat other insects, especially woolly aphids. Adults  take fluids from damp sand, dung, carrion, and aphid honeydew.  The butterfly in this photo was alternating between mud puddles and bird poop (shown).<br />
