Grape Leaffolder - Desmia funeralis I often see these moths near my light. But, instead of flying around, they seem to prefer to hop. Weird. <br />

I often see these moths near my light. But, instead of flying around, they seem to prefer to hop. Weird.

  1. I've been informed that we should leave these at Desmia sp. This species cannot be differentiated from D. maculalis without a ventral view. Posted 6 years ago

      1. Oh, duh. Sorry, you said that. I already knew that about this species and confirm them by checking the underside. I have a bunch that I didn't bother to catch and confirm though, which I haven't posted on JD. Posted 6 years ago
