Callyspongia (Cladochalina) aerizusa is a sponge species in the taxonomic classification of the common sponges (Demospongiae). The body of the sponge consists of silica spicules and spongin fibers, and is able to absorb a lot of water.

The sponge belongs to the genus Callyspongia and belongs to the family Callyspongiidae. The scientific name of the species was validly published for the first time in 1984 by Desqueyroux-Fa├║ndez.
