Curled rose sawfly Although this looks like a caterpillar, it is the lava of a leafwasp.
It took some effort but I finally managed to identify it as the Curled rose sawfly (Allantus cinctus), no english wiki though.
The curled rose sawfly, also known as the banded rose sawfly, is native to Europe and Asia. It is an adventive specie, meaning that the population is not self-sustaining, introduced to parts of North America.
