Yellow Trout Lily - Erythronium americanum A pair of brown and green mottled leaves sheath the base of the stalk, which bears a solitary, nodding flower. The flowers are yellow inside and yellow/bronze outside. The petals and sepals are bent backwards, exposing 6 brown stamens.
