  1. I've heard this frog at night here during the summer (the call is like a plucked banjo string) but so far have not seen them. Posted 6 years ago
    1. Cool! We have tons of green frogs here. I hear tree frogs at night, but don't usually see them. Occasionally, they will sit next to my deck light when I'm mothing though. Posted 6 years ago

The green frog is a species of frog native to the eastern half of the United States and Canada. The two subspecies are the bronze frog and the northern green frog.
