  1. What an odd butterflies. Their bodies look huge compared to their wings. I'm so intruiged I just had to know what this is. My search took me to this website of a guy listing hundreds of Bolivian butterflies:

    Name: Jemadia hewitsonii. Unfortunately, no wiki page to link it to. Still an awesome specie, promoted to homepage.

  4. There are a few similar species of the striped butterflies. These 2 look different so they may be different species. The brown butterfly is an 8-spot Short-tail Skipper (Polythrix octomaculata). The black one is a Scarlet-tipped Loner (Mysarbia sejanus).
