This plant is invasive in CT and easily escapes cultivation. It is a semi-evergreen, vining shrub that becomes more woody with age.

Habitat: Mixed forest; I found several trees with these vines growing on them.

"Euonymus fortunei", Fortune's spindle, is a species of flowering plant in the family Celastraceae, native to east Asia, including China, Korea, the Philippines and Japan. Euonymus is highly invasive and damaging in the United States, causing the death of trees and forest in urban areas.
