    Chrysolina hyperici - France After seeing one from America being uploaded and having the only other one currently on JD from Austrlia, while on both continents the beetle was introduced for biological control, I figured we should have at least one here from the original continent :o)<br /> Oldish image - should have better, but apparently not on this laptop ... Chrysolina hyperici is a metallic leaf beetle in the large worldwide genus Chrysolina. It was introduced into Australia to control the weed species Hypericum perforatum
