Great Spotted Cuckoo - Clamator glandarius
I've heard the Cuckoos call many times. but today was the first time in my life I've actually seen one flying, and then a second one - and that one just perched on a tree, about 20 m (60 feet) away from me, and waited for me to take its pictures!

The great spotted cuckoo is a member of the cuckoo order of birds, the Cuculiformes, which also includes the roadrunners, the anis and the coucals. The genus name "clamator" is Latin for "shouter" from "clamare", "to shout". The specific "glandarius" is derived from Latin "glans, glandis", "acorn".
