    1. I am using 100 mm macro, butbI assume this will be better for flowes. The next 3 days I am on a leaded trip for wild flowers. Hope to have many new species. Posted 6 years ago

Saintpaulia ionantha, commonly known as African violet, is one of 6–20 species of herbaceous perennial flowering plants in the family Gesneriaceae, native to Tanzania and adjacent southeastern Kenya in eastern tropical Africa. Typically the African violet is a common household indoor plant but can also be an outdoor plant.
