Trout Lily - Erythronium americanum I saw numerous single-leaved trout lily plants that are characterized by there green and brown mottled leaves. These plants are too young to flower as trout lily doesn&#039;t flower for the first 4-7 years of life. Eventually, each plant will bear a solitary, nodding yellow flower. But, even without the flower, this plant is beautiful!<br />

Trout Lily - Erythronium americanum

I saw numerous single-leaved trout lily plants that are characterized by there green and brown mottled leaves. These plants are too young to flower as trout lily doesn't flower for the first 4-7 years of life. Eventually, each plant will bear a solitary, nodding yellow flower.
