    1. I saw that too when I was checking the species on JD and thought "well, I've got a photo of a full grown adult." The caterpillar is more dramatic but this moth has some very impressive antennae. Posted 6 years ago

"Orgyia leucostigma", the White-marked tussock moth, is a moth in the family Lymantriidae. The caterpillar is very common especially in late summer in eastern North America, as far west as Texas, Colorado, and Alberta.
