Fox Kit in the Wild Believe it or not, we photographed this fox kit right next to its den. We set up a camera trap and got pictures of all 3 kits as well as the mother - and all this in a small patch of forest not far from where we live! A great reminder that there is amazing nature not just thousands of kilometers away in deserts or tropical jungles, but also close to home if you just walk quietly and keep your eyes open! The Red Fox

The red fox is the largest of the true foxes, as well as being the most geographically spread member of the Carnivora, being distributed across the entire northern hemisphere from the Arctic Circle to North Africa, Central America and the steppes of Asia.
