    1. I think that the person who named this shrub was really unfair - as it doesn't stink so much. the common name is "stinkbush", the latin name is "stinking stinkbush" (or something similar). If you rub the leaves and branches, you get a smell that is not very pleasant. not as bad as Arum, for example...
      on the other hand, this shrub has lots of nectar - and many bees and butterflies and ever small birds like tits are enjoying its nectar.
