Female Gametophyte, Bryum capillare. Byrum capillare is a Bryum moss recognized by its hair tipped leaves that have a reddish tinted midrib and a differentiated leaf marking. On the female gametophyte the rosette of upper leaves flare outward in moist conditions.<br />
