Thanks Ferdy, I was quite pleased with this, so made a break from sorting and uploading La Palma images for it :o) What really bums me out (quite often on macro shots) is the little hairs or fibers that I just don't see while taking the shot and that sort of "make a mess" of it all :-/ Posted 6 days ago

Chrysolina coerulans is a leaf beetle that can occasionally be found on mint plants, and by some is considered a pest. The beetle is immune for the toxins expelled by the plant, likewise the beetle is unattractive for birds due to the bad taste.
