Bumble Flower Beetle (Euphoria inda)

I totally thought this was a bee until I took a closer look! This beetle didn't want much to do with me though--and burrowed into the dirt after just a couple of shots!

  Yes! It is thought to be a bumblebee mimic. It makes a buzzing noise like a bee as well! Posted 6 years ago
