    Do you normally get spring wildflowers? Or, only after the exceptionally wet winters?

    1. Hi! Yes we normally get a spring bloom but this year was much more widespread and not the normal sporadic flower seen here and there. Thanks for looking! Posted 6 years ago

"Encelia farinosa" is a common desert shrub of northern Mexico and the southwestern United States. The common name "brittlebush" comes from the brittleness of its stems.
