    1. Thanks for the extensive research! I went for Crocomela erectistria based on appearance and distribution, my attempt to justify it:

      - Josia sp. seems to have the yellow bands overlap into the abdomen and head, not seen here.
      - Same for Josiomorpha sp.
      - Lyces sp. mostly has bands with strongly different widths. But there's exceptions: Lyces annulata. Yet here too the head has yellow.

      How am I doing?

''Crocomela erectistria'' is a moth of the subfamily Arctiinae. It is found in Ecuador. It is involved in Müllerian mimicry with ''Lyces striata''. The larvae feed on ''Boraginaceae'' species.
