  1. When you look closely, they have stunning eyes, a mix of green and blue. I also enjoy how they non-stop argue and battle for the best spot on some branch sticking out of the water. Posted 6 years ago
    1. Yes, their eyes are quite beautiful. I like their “greasiness” when they slide or dive in the water. They have an oily appearance about them. Posted 6 years ago

The double-crested cormorant is a member of the cormorant family of seabirds. It occurs along inland waterways as well as in coastal areas, and is widely distributed across North America, from the Aleutian Islands in Alaska down to Florida and Mexico.
