Grey-breasted wood wren, La Planada Nature Reserve, Colombia

Abundant in thick montane forest. Like most wood wrens, they are usually found low and do more walking and jumping than actual flying. Fun to watch, not fun to photograph.

The Grey-breasted wood wren

The grey-breasted wood wren is a species of bird in the Troglodytidae family.
It is found at low levels in wooded montane areas of Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico.

It prefers humid regions. It is generally fairly common.
