Owl Pellet
This pellet was full of small bones. The entire pellet was about 6-7 cm long.
Owls eat small rodents, birds, and insects. But, they cannot digest the fur, bones, teeth, feathers, and exoskeletons from their prey. So, these parts are formed into a tight pellet inside the owl, who later spits the pellet out.

FYI, in case you ever collect a pellet - they need to be sterilized, which can easily be done in a regular oven. But, they give off a massive stink while "baking". Posted 6 years ago
