Owls eat small rodents, birds, and insects. But, they cannot digest the fur, bones, teeth, feathers, and exoskeletons from their prey.     1. Wow, a kindred spirit <3! I have a little bag of bones collected from owl pellets.

      FYI, in case you ever collect a pellet - they need to be sterilized, which can easily be done in a regular oven. But, they give off a massive stink while "baking".
