    1. It was nice, though it was really just a couple of extended layovers on either side of the Colombia trip. Nice biodiversity for sure, though I'd be even more keen to see the border zones, i.e. Darien and Bocas del Toro, but it just doesn't have Colombia's magic, in my opinion.

The broad-billed motmot is a species of bird in the family Momotidae. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and heavily degraded former forest.
