This Cattle egret picked an excellent location for building a nest, a wide stroke of shore along the La Cocha Lagoon with tall grass. This side of the lagoon is unreachable for people, it can only be approached by air.

The western cattle egret is a species of heron found in the tropics, subtropics and warm temperate zones. Most taxonomic authorities lump this species and the eastern cattle egret together, but some separate them.
