Yellow-billed pintail - nesting, La Cocha, Colombia I assume it was nesting given the nest material. Furthermore, she (or he?) allowed us to get relatively close, as if defending a nest. The yellow-billed pintail is a South American dabbling duck of the genus ''Anas'' with three described subspecies.
