
The tusked frog is a species of ground-dwelling frog native to eastern Australia from Eungella National Park, Queensland south to Ourimbah, New South Wales. It is the only species in the ''Adelotus'' genus - ''adelotus'' meaning "unseen" and ''brevis'' meaning "short".
