Rock Outcrop and Floating Peat Mat

The floating peat mat was formed and is maintained by a very old beaver dam that restricts the flow on a small stream flowing between the outcrop and a steep cliff. There are probably many interesting fen or peatland plants on the mat but it is next to impossible to get to as it is completely surrounded by deep water.
