Bobcat Scat (Lynx rufus)
Yes, it's poop. But, poop is a part of nature and can tell you a lot about an animal - where it's been, what it's eaten, etc.
This scat had blunt and pointed ends, contained fur but no berries, and was shaped like tubular, segmented ropes. Sometimes there are scrapes next to a bobcat scat where they tried to cover it up, but I didn't notice any scrapes near this pile.
