      1. I'm definitely a fungi fan - as far as ID goes, I still count myself as a beginner.

        It looks like the site will benefit quite a bit from your expertise - your location isn't that well represented at all yet, too, so it will be interesting to see your finds. From your bio, I'd say you'd enjoy yourself out here in the PNW. There's more than a few places that have rare endemic plants :), and climbing to the tops of (smaller) mountains to see them is one of my more favorite things to do, especially when it's not mushroom season.
