I like the pink and white flower combination. The leaves of this plant have a beautiful white and dark green pattern on the upper surface. Its underside is purplish, so the plant can be attractive when not in bloom. Not all examples of this species seem to have the patterned leaf.<br />

This species was described based on a plant from Volcán Turrialba, Costa Rica. As this introduction is from Colombia, the species could possibly also be found in Panama.
