Lone Willow
This was one of my favorite spots in Eau Claire to visit, the Rod and Gun park! The place is just absolutely teeming with all sorts of critters from waterfowl, to frogs, to even the big snapping turtle “buddy”. I just loved how this photo was framed when it was taken, and to this day is one of my favorites I’ve ever taken.

''Salix babylonica'' is a species of willow native to dry areas of northern China, but cultivated for millennia elsewhere in Asia, being traded along the Silk Road to southwest Asia and Europe.
