Libye Ringlet, Putumayo, Colombia Part of a pretty confusing genus so sharing my keys used:
- Overall blue tone (making it a blue ringlet)
- Amount and color of vertical bands
- Whether the last vertical band wraps around the fake eyes (in this one it does not)
- Amount of large fake eyes (3 in this case)
- Pattern between large fake eyes
- Pattern at edge of wing (triple line in this case)
- Color of eyes (unsure if really a key but I see clear differences between species)
- Color of tips of antennae Colombia,Colombia 2018,Colombia South,Libye Ringlet,Magneuptychia libye,Mocoa,Putumayo,South America,World Click/tap to enlarge Species introCountry intro
