Coppery-chested jacamar, Putumayo, Colombia

Remote, misty, and obstructed, but I love jacamars so still happy to have seen it. Within Colombia, this one occurs only in the far south.

The coppery-chested jacamar is a species of bird in the family Galbulidae. It is found in far southern Colombia, Ecuador and far northern Peru. Its natural habitat is subtropical and tropical moist montane forests.
It is threatened by habitat loss.
