Mahala Mat

''Ceanothus prostratus'' is a species of shrub in the buckthorn family Rhamnaceae. Common names include prostrate ceanothus, pinemat, and mahala mat. It is native to the Pacific Northwest of the United States where it grows in coniferous forests and open plateaus.
