            1. I usually only find the sturdiest (most frost-resistant?) polypores this time of year. The fleshier ones like this, not so much. I've been seeing lots of jellies popping up too, which I usually don't see until March. Posted 6 years ago
              1. Craziness. I find mostly crusty leftovers and some jellies this time of year. I did find a ton of Collembola recently though (this is how I broke my toe - in pursuit of springtails, haha). It was so cold outside, they were barely moving, and I was surprised to see them out so early. Posted 6 years ago
