  1. Looks like a pug moth (Geometridae) to me. Maybe Pasiphila sp.? It really resembles Pasiphila rectangulata, but the distribution seems off. Posted 6 years ago
    1. Thanks! I checked Pasiphila rectangulata, it seems very variable and widely distributed. No direct reports from Colombia does not mean much, we're pretty much making those reports right now ;)

The green pug (Pasiphila rectangulata) is a moth of the family Geometridae. It is sometimes placed in the genus Chloroclystis or Rhinoprora. It is common throughout the Palearctic region (from Ireland to Japan) and the Near East. It flies at night in June and July and is attracted to light.
