  Amazing! I tried for a long time to try and find a visual difference between the 2 without luck. However, when it comes to distribution, both aren't really reported for Colombia in great numbers yet Synclera jarbusalis is clearly the one between those two consistently reported just outside Colombia, in Central America. Therefore my theory is that Synclera jarbusalis is more likely.

The Synclera jarbusalis

''Synclera jarbusalis'' is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Francis Walker in 1859. It is found in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Cuba, Florida, Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama and Argentina.

The wingspan is about 18 mm. Adults have been recorded on wing from July to January and from March to April in Florida.
