  1. Amazing series, Christine. The depth, diversity and quality of your set never ceases to amaze me. Posted 6 years ago
    1. Thanks Ferdy! I really do try to see everything because I literally love every part of nature. It's an impossible task to catch it all, of course, but I try anyway ;) Posted 6 years ago
      1. It's so thorough as to be a natural survey of the area, that's no small accomplishment. Posted 6 years ago
        1. Thanks! I am actually planning to do a real survey of an area with my kids for homeschool. We are going to rope off an area of woods, examine every inch of it, measure trees, etc. We will start in the spring and then return to it at least once per season to note the changes. 1. Cool! You should get government funding for it :) Posted 6 years ago
            1. Lol! Yeah, that is totally realistic *sarcasm*. Too bad my government bickers so much and can't seem to stay open...

"Coprinopsis atramentaria", commonly known as the common ink cap or inky cap, is an edible mushroom found in Europe and North America. Previously known as "Coprinus atramentarius", it is the second best known ink cap and previous member of the genus "Coprinus" after "C. comatus".
