Pale Bolete - Boletus pallidus

Cap was soft and very pale pinkish. Pores were yellow and bruised greenish when marked.

Habitat: Growing on the ground in a backyard, wooded area with lots of oak and some conifers.

Imleria pallida is a species of bolete fungus. it was described by Charles Christopher Frost in 1874. The bolete was reported from a Mexican beech forest in Hidalgo, Mexico in 2010.
