The elevation is close to 1,370 m and the habitat is cloud forest, so the area is usually wet for most of the year. There are less rainy days during the drier season.<br />

Anthurium ochranthum was photographed in the early morning on the upward trail close to Montezuma Rain Forest lodge in Parque Nacional Tatama, Colombia.
