  1. Nice! I love dung beetles! Posted 6 years ago
    1. Me too, they hard humble workers. Like, bring the dung! Posted 6 years ago
      1. Yep. They have such important roles in nutrient cycling.

Plus, there are about a million dung beetle jokes out there. In grad school, they were one of our favorite insects to make up one-liners about. Here's a sampling:

        What's a dung beetle's favorite candy?
        ...lolli-poops

A dung beetle walks into a bar, and the bartender says, "Pull up a stool."

There were so many more, but my 40-year old brain can't remember...

        1. Lol, I like short and simple jokes, those are great. Like...

A blind man walks into a bar. And a chair. And the table.

          1. Lol, good one. I like short jokes too, and use them in homeschool...I have my kids copy jokes for printing and cursive writing practice. It makes it a bit more fun for them. Today's joke was:

Why does a flamingo lift one leg when they stand?
...Because if they lifted both legs, they would fall down!

The jokes have to be just dumb enough to be silly and funny...
