Preventing a Road Kill!
On the way down to town at the end of the trip, we saw a Sunda Rat Snake - Coelognathus flavolineatus lying in the middle of our lane. Our Driver had to swerve to the opposite lane avoid it and came to a stop about 30 meters ahead. Right behind us was another car and we had to divert it to prevent it from running over this beautiful snake.
We took the opportunity to get some pics with it before releasing it to the bushes.

''Coelognathus flavolineatus'', the black copper rat snake or yellow striped snake, is a species of Colubrid snake found in Southeast Asia. This species was previously recognized in the genus ''Elaphe''.
