Orange Oyster - Phyllotopsis nidulans Past their prime, but still vibrant!<br />

Caps were mostly fan-shaped, pale orange, very fuzzy, and had inrolled margins. The gills were close, orange, and had frequent short gills. It didn&#039;t have a stem, but did have a poorly defined base. Odor: similar to rotting garbage. Fruiting bodies were 2-6 cm wide.<br />

Habitat: Growing on rotting wood in a mostly deciduous forest.<br />
